In fact, I had a lot of change sitting around. It was all neatly rolled and taking up a lot of space on a shelf where I could happily put more junk. So I've joined the bobupndown Penny Drive for Charity. I think it's a neat idea, plus I finally get the motivation to clear off that shelf. My donation went to The San Francisco Coalition on Homelessness.

I'm also giving to Planned Parenthood; until the end of the year, donations will be doubled through a Matching Grant Program, so there's no better time.
