01/04/2002 Entry: "What do you want me to do, learn to stutter?" "By Gad, sir, you are a character. There's never any telling what you'll say or do next, except that it's bound to be something astonishing!" If only I weren't so tired I'd accompany the Boyfriend to see The Maltese Falcon at the Paramount Theater tonight. I can hardly imagine a better setting for a classic Noir film than that beautiful Art Deco theater. Starts at 8, if you're still looking for something to do tonight. I'm a little worn out from this past week's shenanigans. If I intend to get any writing done I think I'd be better served with my slippers and a big bowl of soba noodle soup. But I'm definitely going to be there next month when the Paramount shows The Marx Brothers' "Duck Soup". Hail Freedonia!
