07/01/2002 Entry: "You Look...Different, Somehow." At lunch, a co-worker said something looked different about me today. He asked if I had lost weight. I could have kissed him right then. Later, a woman I work with in another department came by to talk about a project we're working on. She stopped and asked, "Did you color your hair?" No, I sure didn't. Why? "I don't know. You look different. Haircut?" Nope, I'm in desperate need of one, in fact. I offered that maybe my hair had lightened in the sun this weekend, when it struck me why no one could understand why I looked so much different than usual: Maybe there's color in my face from being in the sun.
