12/31/2003 Entry: "Poland Or Limbo Or Lower Manhattan."
This year I seem to be unable to accomodate most of my New Year's But I usually pick a song for the New Year, and since you won't be here to listen to me play it at midnight, I'll let you listen at your convenience: Rufus Wainwright's "I Don't Know What It Is". Sick of looking around at friendly faces Hope we get there soon. Hope you have a Happy, Safe and Peaceful New Year, however you celebrate it.

When you say "Hope we get there soon," what kind of "getting there" are you talking about? :p Posted by Jason @ 01/02/2004 10:43 AM PST Nice song - but I'm a bit unsure about the message it holds for a new year :-) Posted by Jase @ 01/05/2004 03:31 AM PST Nala: Dziekuje...To you as well. Jason: Every kind of Getting There. w00t! Jase: True, he wrote it just before entering rehab, but it could be about any kind of life change. That's how I interpret it for the New Year: This could be good, could be bad. Won't know until I get there. But it's time to "take a step that is new" and figure out where I'm going.
