Multiple personalities.

Roseanne struggles to contain multiple personalities. I have a great deal of compassion for people with Multiple Personality Disorder. It's not among my personal worries of mental instabilities, but as an exercise once, I gave "names" to my various mood-states. That was interesting, but quite obviously not the same; I always knew that "Spider" and "Rabbit" and "Betty (poor Betty!)" were just characters that I played when I was in the mood. I can't even imagine what it would be like if those "characters" felt autonomous, and either didn't know about or didn't get along the others.
