Saturday, July 20, 2002 Who's Crying NOW? Woke up this morning with Journey's "Any Way You Want It" playing on repeat in my head for no apparant reason. Am contemplating cutting off own head to make it stop. Please send help. [Bonus Link for the Boyfriend: Adam Felber's Weblog. (Link via Jon Sullivan.)]
11:52 AM PST (link) Thursday, July 18, 2002 Straightening Out Those Dollar Bills. While you may have read the strapping HCL detailing what happens in sticky-floored, adult movie booths, you might want to get a well-written perspective from behind the counter when you rent. (Link via my pal C.D.)
05:02 PM PST (link) Warning. I see...I suppose this means that I will get worse—or better, depending on your point of view. (Link via Rebecca.) Well, then, when it happens, "I shall wear purple / with a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me."

04:15 PM PST (link) I'm Going To Bed...Bed Bed Bed Bed Bed. Had a great time seeing They Might Be Giants Tuesday night at the Fillmore. They played a lot of stuff off their new album including my favorite (see this entry's title.) While I'd started out in a bit of a funk this week, a show with John and John is always good for brightening my mood. And my spirits were even more elevated to see Huntington there; it's been too long since I've seen him. I was glad to be able to share the Giant Radio segment (What was that, "Breakdown" by Tom Petty?) and the best version I've seen of the most bitchen drum solo ever. ("For Animal from the Muppets, press or say nine!") We're debating if we're going to go again tonight. For the moment, however, I'm going to bed. (Bed bed bed bed...)
02:51 AM PST (link) Tuesday, July 16, 2002 Get Your Black Heart Pumping. I knew it wasn't just me. Finally, an aerobics class I could join. (link via Niko.)
